Project Overview

• Tools used: Google Sheets, OpenAI GPT, Gmail, Zapier
• Logic used: Spreadsheet control logic + Prompt injection
• Main goal: Automate follow-up email generation with full personalization
• Outcome: Adaptive GPT-powered email assistant triggered from Google Sheets rows

This automation empowers account managers to generate personalized client emails by simply updating a row in Google Sheets. Urgency, tone, and topic are all controlled through predefined fields, and responses are instantly sent via Gmail.

Google Sheet Setup

The Google Sheet acts as the input panel and control interface.

The sheet is titled:

GPT Email Engine – Input 2.0

Columns used:

• Client Name – Short answer
• Client Email – Email address
• Urgency Level – Dropdown (Low, Mid, High)
• Relationship – Dropdown (Cold, Warm, Strong)
• Budget Tier – Dropdown (Low, Mid, High)
• Topic – Freeform text (e.g. Follow-up, Proposal, Reminder)
• Notes – Optional extra context
• Generated Mail – GPT output (filled by Zapier) ⬇️
